Cailyn Shelby's debut single

19 year old singer-songwriter, Cailyn Shelby releases debut single "My Four Friends" on Wednesday, August 4th, ahead of Women's day.

"'My Four Friends' was written during the Covid-19 lockdown, I think it was probably one of my easiest songs to write, because we were stuck at home and I was spending so much time in my room, writing songs or watching Netflix, just trying to past the time.

The song was inspired by my bedroom walls, I like the concept of ours walls experiencing our lives as we live them and wanted to write about that."

The song was written on piano, and originally sounded a lot more "sad" than the final product, but was always meant to be upbeat the way it was heard when being written in August of 2020.
