Another number 1!!!!

Cailyn Shelby was interviewed by Thabiso Mogane from Ekurhuleni Fm for their top 40 chart on Saturday, October 30th, where they chatted all things "My four friends", what she eats, and how she got into songwriting.

Cailyn labelled Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson as being some of her musical influences and inspirations and spoke about how the Covid-19 lockdown helped her grow her confidence in both herself, her musical abilities and her songwriting.

During the interview, she expressed her love for Formula 1, how much she enjoys pasta and Mexican food and how grateful she feels to have support from her parents as she finds her way in the music industry.

They spoke about her set at the Save the vlei event held in early October, where Cailyn shared how she was blown away when the crowd started singing along to her hit song "My four friends", while joined by local artists for the fundraiser.

At the end of the interview, the singer found out she was at the number 1 spot on Ekurhuleni's Top 40 chart which came almost 3 weeks after claiming a number 1 on Jacaranda FM.
